Heidi grew up in North Carolina and trained in Musical Theatre, specialising in voice performance and pedagogy, before detouring a bit and earning a PhD in medieval archaeology.  While living in the UK, she began to sing again professionally.  She is based in the Northeast of England, where she lives with her husband and 4 cats.
